Lee Memorial Health System d/b/a Lee Health (“Lee Health”) provides the following information to individuals seeking legal documents, including subpoenas requesting records or testimonials from Lee Health employees. The following companies listed on the Florida Division of Corporations (www.sunbiz.org) website are separate entities from Lee Health and are not appropriate entities for legal matters involving Lee Health: Haley Zelenka is responsible for overseeing corporate compliance, HIPAA functions, and contract management. She also provides legal advice on various administrative and operational matters to the administrative team. Most of these issues include recurring agreements/contracts, interpretations of staff labor laws, and other operational matters. Ms. Zelenka studied at Mississippi State University for her bachelor`s thesis and at the University of Mississippi for her law degree. Dr. Michael Wiederhold came to Memorial Hospital with over 25 years of experience in health care. He began his career in the health field as a hospital volunteer, then became an intermediate emergency physician, and from there he rose through the ranks of health care. As Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Wiederhold is responsible for medical personnel, population health and medical informatics. Dr. Wiederhold holds a M.D.

from the University of Arkansas in Medical Sciences; Master of Public Health, Tulane University; Master of Science in Emergency Health Services from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County; and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Emory University. Dr. Wiederhold is a board-certified professional in the areas of healthcare quality, patient safety, healthcare risk management, and healthcare information and management systems, as well as a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Kent Nicaud has over 25 years of healthcare management experience in both the private and not-for-profit sectors. He had consulting contracts with hospitals in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. Mr. Nicaud has been a consultant at Gulfport Memorial Hospital since 1996 and employed since 2008. He was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2010 and President and Chief Executive Officer in 2018. Lee Health will not provide records or information in response to subpoenas that do not comply with legal requirements. A subpoena is not legally sufficient to obtain the disclosure of medical records containing the identity or results of an HIV test.
